About
RS-1 is a set of floor plans, graphic representations and spreadsheets that provide a complete understanding of every element in a house: Dimensions, Areas, Type, Positioning and Quantities.
Floors
Instead of having the total square footage of the house RS-1 gives you the precise amount of flooring by finish, location and furthermore the amount of baseboard and actual flooring without including what is covered by cabinets or built-in furniture.
Walls
No more calculating wall areas by multiplying the wall length by general heights, RS-1 provides the specific square footage by location and type of wall finish, excluding openings (windows, arches and doors) and taking into consideration the specific height of individual spaces.
Ceilings
Ceilings are hardly seen on floor plans and nevertheless are one of the most important and complex parts of a house. Dropped or slanted ceilings are hard to measure, smoke detectors and grills often get missed. RS-1 provides precise ceiling areas and ceiling fixtures by quantity type and location.
Openings
Doors and Windows are one of the most common replaced items in Home Renovations. Keeping the correct count, dimensions, type and placement of these openings is crucial for planning success.
